At the Council's cabinet we agreed a lease of up to seven years for the Lido project on West Marina which includes bar, restaurant, seasports activities etc. The promoters are also keen on a sustainable transport link along the seafront connecting the Old Town to West Marina and points in between. This may be like the Big Lemon project of sustainable small buses in Brighton. We have always supported the idea of a seafront link but a destination was needed at West Marina to make it viable - hopefully we now will have that this year
